Ranking & sponsorship policy
Trust is our product. This page explains — in plain language — how events are ordered and what our founders’ relationship to the platform means.
How search results are ordered
Organic results are ranked by things that matter to you, in roughly this order:
- How well the event matches your filters (date, place, category, price).
- How soon it happens.
- How well the text matches your search.
- Listing completeness and freshness.
No one can pay to rank higher in organic results — including Svara Sound.
The Svara Sound relationship
CT Wellness Events was founded by Svara Sound. Svara receives clearly labeled placements — the “Upcoming from Svara Sound” homepage module, a section in the CT Wellness Weekly newsletter, “Svara’s Picks” editorial selections, and a founder badge. These are disclosures, not ranking boosts: in search results, Svara’s events are scored exactly like everyone else’s, and competing sound-healing organizers appear normally in all organic results.
Sponsored and featured placements
If an event or organizer pays for visibility, that placement is labeled “Sponsored” or “Featured,” appears only in designated slots, and never replaces organic results. Sponsorship decisions are kept separate from moderation decisions.
