Community standards

We welcome events from every wellness tradition. To keep the directory safe and useful, listings must meet these standards.

Listings must

  • Be real, dated events with a clear location (or online format) and a way to attend.
  • Describe costs honestly — no hidden material fees.
  • Represent the organizer’s credentials truthfully.
  • Have the right to use any images and text they include.

Listings must not

  • Promise to cure, diagnose, reverse, or prevent disease.
  • Present wellness practices as a substitute for licensed medical care.
  • Include harassment, hate, exploitation, or unlawful discrimination.
  • Be permanent services, coupons, or ordinary business hours dressed up as events.
  • Be fraudulent, misleading, or duplicate spam.

Audience-specific events

Events may describe an intended community (for example, women-centered or LGBTQ+ centered). These labels describe community context and may not be used to facilitate unlawful discrimination.

Enforcement

Listings that violate these standards are corrected, hidden, or removed. Organizers can appeal any decision by replying to the notification they receive. See something concerning? Report it.
